Kinzinger disappoints TEA Party with his vote of the ‘fiscal cliff’
Representative Adam Kinzinger was elected in 2010 and 2012 with massive TEA Party support. But on Jan. 1, 2013, he, along with 172 House Democrats, voted “yes” on the American Taxpayer Relief Act of 2012.
His vote, for more taxes and no serious spending reduction, effectively puts off, yet again, any meaningful action on the nation’s debt problem and is a slap in the face to the local TEA Party.
