Tough way for Notre Dame defensive end Lewis-Moore to go out

(MCT) — MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — In a corner of a grim Notre Dame locker room late Monday, Kapron Lewis-Moore declined to specify the reason for the a pair of crutches to his right.

It was the sort of bad news no one wants to talk about, anyway. The senior defensive end suffered a right ACL injury late in the first half of a 42-14 BCS championship game loss to Alabama that will require surgery, multiple sources told the Chicago Tribune on Tuesday.
