• Thomas W. Anderson, 35, of Morris, was arrested by Morris police Jan. 12 and booked into the Grundy County Jail, on a charge of aggravated assault. According to the report, while a Morris officer was sitting in a parking lot on Liberty Street he came up behind the officer and screamed in the officer’s ear.
• Maria Corwin, 52, of Morris, was arrested by Morris police Jan. 12 on charges of harassment by telephone and resisting a peace officer. She posted bond and was released with a Feb. 25 court date.
