The parents filed an informational report with the Grundy County Sheriff's Department, Sheriff Kevin Callahan said. No charges have been filed.

"The positive thing is this has made us look at things," Whiston said. "These are little kids and it just can't happen."

If five (5) children board a school bus-then five should exit it. Was the driver using a cell phone in a school zone which distracted the count 1-2-3-4-5! The safety officer should make sure this never become a fatal incident. Freezing or dying in the heat results in the same thing.
