Mrs. Evelyn T. Olson, 87, of Morris, passed away early Saturday morning, Jan. 19, 2013, at Morris Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center with her loving family by her side.

Born Sept. 28, 1925 in Morris, Evelyn was the daughter of Raymond and Ella (Arneson) Thorson. She graduated from Morris High School with the class of 1943. She married Marvin L. Olson on June 8, 1944, at Stavanger Lutheran Church.

Prior to her and Marvin farming in Nettle Creek Township, Evelyn was employed at Brewe’s Grocery Store in Lisbon.
