Exelon employee raffle supports local agencies

Daybreak Center, Trinity Services share $13,000

BRACEVILLE, Ill. – The Daybreak Center of Joliet provides more than 28,000 nights of shelter each year to men, women and children. This year, it will be able to provide 325 more days of shelter thanks to an employee raffle held at Exelon Generation’s Braidwood Generating Station.

The money raised will allow the center, which provides 24-hour emergency support to the homeless, reach beyond the 1,000 individuals it served last year.
