ROUNDUP: Irish win over rival Marquette
OTTAWA — Seneca never led by more than 5 points at the end of any quarter in a 55-52 varsity boys basketball win over rival Marquette Tuesday night.
"We (played a) decent game against a lot of adversity tonight," Seneca coach Russell Witte said. "In the end, it shows a lot of character about our kids. We made the plays down the stretch."
With 4 made 3-pointers each, Jimmy David scored 18 points and Conlan Callahan had 14 to lead the Fighting Irish (19-3).
