Adults invited to view ‘Argo’ at Morris library

The Morris Area Public Library’s movie night for February will take place at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21. The library will show the movie “Argo,” starring Ben Affleck, Bryan Cranston and John Goodman.

When militants seize control of the U.S. embassy in Tehran during the height of the Iranian Revolution, CIA agent Tony Mendez creates a fake Hollywood film production in order to rescue a group of American diplomats who have sought refuge at the home of a Canadian ambassador.  Argo was inspired by actual events.
