(Continued from Page 2)

Drawing on inspiration from the likes of Monty Python, Saturday Night Live, Jules Feiffer, the Marx Brothers, and classic vaudeville, these sketches vary wildly in style, yet they all celebrate the farcical nature inherent in male-female relationships.

“This show is probably one of the most hilarious I have ever worked on,” said Pagoria. “It’s so funny to witness the true and very funny side of any relationship.”

The comedy stars Jacob Austin of Hinckley and Ashley Hamilton of Oswego. The show is broad, and takes audiences on a trip through the humorous side of relationships. The first blind date, “Find Me a Primitive Man,” involves a caveman who only communicates in grunts and gestures. He brings a slab of meat to the date, which wouldn’t be welcome in the later skit about vegetarians, or it might be. At the other extreme, “The Stepford Guy” presents a woman’s fantasy of the perfect man and how it’s not satisfying.

Things aren’t so rosy for guys either, since one man’s blind date is with a crazy woman who sends him a festival of mixed signals. Another man hires an escort to live out his fantasy. There’s even a skit presented as a spoof of Abbott & Costello’s “who’s on first” routine.

Two other verbal jousts feature arm-wrestling as a literal version of a power game, and another showing each person’s imaginary projection of their whole future relationship in the question of buying a drink.
