Connor indicted for severely injuring child

Morris man arrested Thursday on warrant for 2011 incident

Zachary E. Connor, 24, formerly of the 300 block of Lincoln St., Morris, was indicted Wednesday on one count of aggravated battery, a Class 3 felony, and one count of endangering the life and health of a child, a Class A misdemeanor, Chief Brent Dite said Friday.

Connor, who now resides in Joliet, was arrested Thursday by the Joliet Police Department on a Grundy County warrant from the indictment. He was unable to post bond and is in custody at the Grundy County Jail, according to a press release from the Morris Police Department.
