A benefit planned for Saturday, Feb. 16 will raise funds for Debbie Egeland, left, and her husband Bruce to cover medical expenses as result of health issues.

The talented Mary Pfeifer will perform her “Simply Patsy” program, a singing tribute to Patsy Cline, at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, in the Morris High School auditorium. Suggested donation is $5 at the door.

A quilt raffle, crocheted items, and bake sale will be held in the lobby.

Bruce Egeland, a self-employed carpenter, was diagnosed with a non-operatable brain tumor in April 2010.

Debbie Egeland, a library cataloguer who retired from Morris Area Library to care for her husband, had a massive stroke in May 2012.

Debbie is receiving physcial therapy to regain the use of her right arm and leg. There is no insurance to cover medical expenses and nursing home care.

The raffle quilt will be on display at Mike’s Paint and Paper with the drawing to be held on March 17, 2013 Close friends and Thrivent Financial for Lutherans are planning this benefit.
