Filling pantry the united way

Miller family, United Way of Grundy County combine to fund food delivery

On Friday, Jan. 25, Mike and Norma Miller sponsored We Care's Fill the Pantry date.

The Millers gave a $650 donation that provided the majority of the funds that allowed We Care to order 5,756 pounds of food from Northern Illinois Food Bank. The remaining funds were provided through a mini-grant from United Way of Grundy County.

UWGC Board members also provided the volunteer labor to unload the truck and stock the shelves.
