Pat Halloran deserves to remain in charge at MCHS

I was over at the high school last week and bumped into Pat, and simply asked him, “What is going on with the board?” He would not tell me, and for the first time I can remember, he did not give me his full attention on a specific request. It really did not surprise me, as that was the professional thing to do.

Because I really wanted to know, I asked the first couple locals I saw, who I thought might know the real scoop. None of them were teachers, who are reported to be unanimously supportive of Pat, which is very impressive in itself. What I found out is that the resistance to a new contract for Pat, is about “a lot of nothing.” Really, there is nothing concrete anyone can say negative about his performance as our superintendant.
