Metal Stamp moving from Channahon to Minooka

Company plans to construct 50,000-square-foot facility

MINOOKA, Ill. — Metal Stamp Inc. will leave its facility on Northern Illinois Drive in Channahon and build a new one in Minooka Industrial Park.

The company received approval of its preliminary and final plat of subdivision on Tuesday night. It intends to build a 50,000-square-foot facility on Serena Court, just off Minooka Road, said Village Administrator Dan Duffy. Groundbreaking could be as early as July of this year.

Metal Stamp is moving to Minooka because it couldn’t come to a lease arrangement at its current location, Duffy said.
