Mississippi man charged with killing gay candidate for mayor
(MCT) — A 22-year-old man has been charged with killing an openly gay candidate for mayor of Clarksdale, Miss., officials said.
Lawrence Reed of Shelby, Miss., was charged with murder, the Coahoma County sheriff’s office announced Thursday.
