By taking too long with Halloran ‘s contract, he said then, the board is “playing a very dangerous game,” because they risk Halloran finding another job, and if he does leave voluntarily or by being forced out, the board has not left enough time to conduct a proper search for a replacement.

The school board meets next at 6:30 p.m. March 11 in the district office board room of the high school.

I agree that the District 54 Superintendent appointment should have never happened. It has been nothing short of a distraction and embarassment for our community and students ever since. It also de-values those that have the credentials and experience necesssary to perform professionally in that position.

I'm in favor of anything that will help improve school finances
I will support it if it helps to lower my property taxes
I oppose it because I don't believe it will impact property taxes and I will just pay twice
I'm against any additional taxes
