The Morris Hospital Foundation is once again offering scholarships to individuals pursuing an education in a healthcare related field.

Students living in Grundy County who are enrolled in coursework leading to an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing may apply for the Betty J. Sterritt Nursing Scholarship, established in memory of a beloved nurse who provided more than 40 years of service to Morris Hospital. This award is valued at $2,000 over two years and was established by Sterritt’s family with additional support from friends and colleagues, including a 5k Run/Walk held in her memory in the fall.
