Join Blackbird’s Bowl Natural Pet Foods & More from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, March 30, for an evening of art, live jazz and hors d’oeuvres benefiting both “It’s a Pittie Rescue” and “Just Animals Shelter.”

Located at 221 Liberty St. in Downtown Morris, Blackbird’s Bowl is hosting the lively event where pet lovers and rescue supporters can enjoy live music, appetizers and wine while stimulating their sense of sight with inspirational art work, jewelry and photography.

Step into the area’s premier holistic pet boutique and surround yourself with beautiful décor, like-minded progressive pet loving enthusiasts and exquisite artwork while supporting two amazing area rescues.

Tickets are $65 per person, or $115 a couple, and include all event festivities, including a silent auction, as well as one raffle ticket for a chance to win a commissioned piece of art created just for the winner by Margie Sula-Glass Fine Art on behalf of The Gutter Dog Project.

Sula-Glass started The Gutter Dog Project in 2009 after receiving her master’s degree in visual arts.

The Gutter Dog Project is 100 percent charitable and Sula-Glass’s hope is “for this project to bring recognition, awareness, new proper homes, and some extra funding to those who glean with selflessness to rescue these dogs.”
