Bus driver ticketed in wake of Friday crash
Kids’ trips to hospital only precautionary
The driver of the Saratoga School bus that collided with a pickup truck Friday morning was issued a citation for failure to yield at an intersection, according to a crash report.
Madonna J. Hunckler-Buchinski, 54, stopped at the intersection of Minooka Road and Illinois 47 just before 8 a.m. Visibility was poor due to heavy fog, and Hunckler-Buchinski proceeded into the intersection at the same time as a pickup traveling north on Illinois 47.
