Ranz, Swartz united in marriage Oct. 26

Couple with local ties share vows in Wilmington, N.C.

Kelsey J. Ranz and First Lt. Adam P. Swartz were married at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26, 2012, at the Balcony on Dock Street in Wilmington, N.C.

WILMINGTON, N.C. — Kelsey J. Ranz and First Lt. Adam P. Swartz were married at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26, 2012, at the Balcony on Dock Street in Wilmington, N.C. Pastor Randall C. Donahue officiate.

The bride is the daughter of Mike and Carla Ranz of Morris. She is the granddaughter of Darlene Hanson, also of Morris.

The groom is the son of Steve and Nene Swartz. He is the grandson of Lynn and Sharon Paulson of Morris and Phyllis Knutson of Coal City.

Cailey Walker, sister of the groom, was the matron of honor. Katie Polanshek and Megan Brown were the maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Cassie Blades, Whitney Wilson, Diane Strait, Jessica War and Jenn Grossi, all friends of the bride.

First Lt. Max Bernstein, friend of the groom, was the best man. Groomsmen were Kevin Walker, brother-in-law of the groom; Jeremy Ranz, brother of the bride; and Trent Olson and Keith Jorstad, friends of the groom. Eric Iverson and Adam Wilson, friends of the groom, were ushers.

A reception at the Balcony on Dock Street followed the ceremony.

After a wedding trip to Antiqua, the couple is living on North Topsail Beach, North Carolina.

Adam is a first lieutenant in the U.S. Marine Corps. He is stationed at Camp Lejune.

Kelsey is employed at Surf City Pet Lodge.
