COAL CITY — The Coal City Public Library District is offering a bus trip to “Elvis Lives: The Ultimate Elvis Tribute Event” on Saturday, March 23.

“Elvis Lives” is an unforgettable multimedia and live musical journey across Elvis’ life. The show features four different tribute artists who recreate the four eras of the King’s career: his start in the 1950s, his “Movie Era” of the early 1960s, his 1968 comeback in the black leather of the famous television special, and his 1970’s concert years.

The show is held at the Akoo Theater in Rosemont. The bus will leave the library at 1 p.m.

Tickets are $50 each for the show, bus transportation and driver tip. They must be purchased at the Coal City Public Library. There will be a dinner stop at Portillo’s Restaurant if you wish to purchase food.
