Wrong-way driver among 11 indicted Wednesday by grand jury

On March 20, Grundy County State’s Attorney Jason Helland has announced, the Grundy County Circuit Court Grandy Jury returned indictments against 11 individuals.

Among them was Rodgerick Marsh of Chicago, who is charged with driving the wrong way on Interstate 80, causing a fatal accident.

The public is advised that a charge is merely an accusation and that a defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Rodgerick Marsh, 30, of Chicago, was indicted for two counts of aggravated DUI proximately causing a death, a class 2 felony; two counts of aggravated DUI while the offender did not have a valid driver’s license, a class 4 felony; and two counts of aggravated DUI while the offender did not have insurance, a class 4 felony.

Erica Campbell, 23, of Ottawa, was indicted for unlawful possession of a controlled substance, a class 4 felony.

Felicia Bustle, 24, of Normal, and Alexander Robbins, 28, of Pontiac, were indicted for unlawful possession of a controlled substance, a class 4 felony.

Leon Barker, 37, of Joliet, was indicted for driving while driver’s license was revoked, a class 4 felony.

Osvaldo Avitia, 27, of Plano, was indicted for driving while driver’s license was revoked, a class 4 felony.

Daniel Mazan Dizon, 57, of Darien, was indicted for two counts of theft, one count of theft in excess of $10,000 but less than $100,000, a class 2 felony; and another count of theft in excess of $500 but less than $10,000, a class 3 felony.

Douglas Pettit, 55, of Morris, was indicted for three counts of child pornography, each a class 1 felony.

Kenneth Thomas, 32, of Dickinson, TX, was indicted for unlawful possession of a controlled substance, a class 4 felony.

Shannon Cupp, 40, of Morris, was indicted for two counts of aggravated DUI for driving while under the influence with at least three prior DUIs, a class 2 felony; a count of aggravated DUI for committing a DUI while revoked for DUI, a class 4 felony; a count of aggravated DUI for committing a DUI while not having insurance; and driving while revoked based on a DUI revocation, a class 4 felony.

Briana Jamison, 19, of Chicago, was indicted for forgery, a class 3 felony.

Cody Libs, 21, of Wilmington, was indicted for unlawful possession of a controlled substance, a class 4 felony.
