Morris Public Library to show ‘Lincoln’ for April Movie Night

The Morris Area Public Library’s movie night for April will take place at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 2. The event will feature the movie “Lincoln,” starring Daniel Day-Lewis and Sally Field. 

As the Civil War continues to rage, America’s president struggles with continuing carnage on the battlefield and as he fights with many inside his own cabinet on the decision to emancipate the slaves. 

This movie is free and open to anyone over the age of 12. To register, please call (815) 942-6880 or visit the library. Refreshments will also be available. 

The Morris Area Public Library is located at 604 Liberty St. in Morris.
