‘Rapid Response’ meeting set for job seekers

DWIGHT — A Rapid Response informational meeting is planned at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 10, at the village of Dwight facility located at 209 S. Prairie St., Dwight.

The meeting is designed for those affected by layoff from the Dwight Correctional Center, as well as any other Grundy or Livingston county resident in need of employment assistance.

Topics will include unemployment insurance, employment assistance resources, mortgage assistance, and education/training grants.

The meeting will be hosted by the Grundy Livingston Kankakee Workforce Board, the village of Dwight and the Illinois Department of Employment Security.
