OTTAWA, Ill — Illinois Valley Symphony Orchestra (IVSO) will host its 10th annual wine tasting fundraising event Friday, May 3.
Planned for 5 to 8 p.m., the event will take place at Celebrations 150, located on U.S. 6, in Utica.
This year, the IVSO will honor Barbara Lukancic for her remarkable spirit and perseverance to further the IVSO for 50 seasons.
A tasty event not to miss, “Toast of the Town” celebrates culture and live music around the world, with auctions, raffles, international cheeses and food... and, of course, Herman’s Package Store will have more than 100 International wines to taste.
Regular event tickets include access to all the tastings, food, and music during the event.
Back by popular demand, the IVSO “VIP” Wine Garden and after party will feature “The Steve Sharp Band.” Tickets are limited.
Have you always wanted to have a baton and conduct a full symphonic orchestra? An evening auction highlight will be the IVSO’s “Golden Baton.” Harness your inner Maestro!
The auction winner will take advantage of a priceless opportunity to conduct the IVSO with their “Golden Baton.” Also, IVSO will feature a Kindle Fire HD raffle item and a 50/50 drawing.
Proceeds from this event will benefit the Illinois Valley Symphony Orchestra, its long-term initiatives, and educational programs.
This year’s IVSO “Toast of the Town” wine tasting event is sponsored by Herman’s Package Store, Hy-Vee, HR Imaging Partners, WCMY 1430 AM, Good Times, and Celebrations 150, along with Season Sponsor, Central Radio Group’s WZOE 1490 AM, Z98, and WRVY 100.5 FM.
