Lawsuit over work injuries is settled

A 2009 lawsuit filed by a man injured painting towers at Chicago Aerosol in Coal City was dismissed with prejudice in April pursuant to a settlement.

John Palmo filed the suit in Cook County against Chicago Aerosol and Fagan and Sons Painting and Decorating of Crest Hill, seeking damages. It was transferred to Grundy County in July 2009.

The complaint charged Palmo, who was employed by Fagan, was painting the towers at Chicago Aerosol when the ladder he was on fell and he was injured.
