A woman is being sued after she allegedly hit another vehicle and caused injuries to a family of three.

Yazmin Knowles is suing Brandi McCleary on behalf of herself and her two minor daughters.

On April 11, Knowles was traveling west on U.S. 6, near Pheasant Lane, in Channahon. McCleary was going north on Pheasant Lane when she allegedly collided with Knowles’ vehicle, according to the case file.

The case states McCleary failed to yield, keep a proper lookout, keep proper control of her vehicle and failed to avoid a collision.

As a result, Knowles and her two daughters were severely and permanently injured and are suing for medical expenses, wage loss and pain and suffering.
