NuMark offers seminar for first-time car buyers

Published: Friday, May 17, 2013 8:57 a.m. CST

NuMark Credit Union is offering a free seminar for those who are ready to purchase their very first car.

Buying a car can be a nerve racking experience; however, it doesn’t have to be. As the saying goes, “knowledge is power,” and when it comes to car buying, once first-time auto buyers know the process and learn how to do their homework, hundreds of dollars or more could be saved.

At NuMark’s free seminar, “Money Saving Tips for First-Time Auto Buyers,” participants will learn how to decipher financing op- tions and warranties, discover the advantages of buying used, negotiate the best car price, and determine how much car they can afford.

This information will help anyone thinking about purchasing a new vehicle and prevent getting stuck with a bad deal.

“This is one of my favorite seminars to present because it gives so many great tips on how to save money during the car buying process,” says Linda Krakora, training & development manager.

This seminar is free and open to the public and will be held from 6 to 8 p.m.  on Tuesday, June 18, at NuMark’s Crest Hill office, 2380 Caton Farm Road.

It will be repeated at the same time on Thursday, June 20, at the Tinley Park office, 8001 W. 159th Street.

Participants are encouraged to bring their friends. Seating is limited.
