Police Roundup

Charlette A. Rockett, 42, of Yorkville, was arrested by Kendall County Sheriff’s police May 14 on a charge of driving while license suspended.

Alaya A. Tunk, 20, of Oswego, was arrested by Kendall County Sheriff’s police May 14 on a no bond warrant out of Kendall County for domestic battery.

Tyler James Brann, 18, of Millington, was arrested by Kendall County Sheriff’s police May 14 on a charge of speeding more than 30 MPH over the limit. He was driving 91 MPH in a 55 MPH zone.

Darrel A. Thomas, 43, of Bristol, was arrested by Kendall County Sheriff’s police May 16 on a charge of domestic battery. Thomas had allegedly struck a family member.

Frank W. Mosch, 47, of Sheridan, was arrested by Kendall County Sheriff’s police May 16 on a charge of burglary to a motor vehicle. Mosch also had an active warrant out of DeKalb County for criminal damage to property.

After crashing his car into a utility pole, Ramiro Rodriguez, 21, of Plainfield, was summoned on a charge of driving while license revoked. Rodriguez was taken to Rush-Copley Medical Center for treatment.

La Salle County

Bart M. Chalus, 39, of Tonica, was arrested by LaSalle County Sheriff’s police May 17 after he was involved in a single-vehicle accident. Chalus was charged with possession of a controlled substance (cocaine), DUI, driving while license revoked, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and improper lane usage. Chalus was treated for minor injuries and taken to county jail to await a bond hearing.

Morris

Eric J. Szitasy, 33, of Channahon, was arrested by Morris police May 16 on charges of assault, two counts of disorderly conduct and cited for public intoxication. Szitasy posted bond and was released wth a June 10 court date.

Grundy County

Daniel R. Randall, 41, of Chicago, was arrested by Grundy County Sheriff’s police and booked into county jail May 16 on a failure to appear warrant for DUI.

Minooka

Leo A. Petre, 43, of Marseilles, was arrested by Minooka police May 16 on a charge of driving while license revoked. Petre posted bond and was released.
