Thomas Earl Kimbro

BRAIDWOOD, Ill. — Mr. Thomas Earl Kimbro, 56, of Braidwood, Ill., passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at his home.

Born July 18, 1956, in Joliet, Ill., to the late Earl Thomas and Margaret Mae (Cottingim) Kimbro, Thomas was a graduate of Reed-Custer High School with the Class of 1976.

A former member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union Local #73 in Wheeling, Ill., he was currently a member of Local #265 in Carol Stream, IL. He was currently employed as a superintendent at Atomatic Mechanical Services Inc. in Arlington Heights, Ill.

A member of Immaculate Conception Church in Braidwood, Mr. Kimbro enjoyed working on cars, traveling, baseball, and spending time with his family.

Surviving are his wife, Kathleen (Faletti) Kimbro, whom he married July 7, 1979, in Coal City, Ill.; a son, Tom Kimbro of Braidwood; a daughter, Ashley Kimbro of Chicago; a brother, Dennis Zolper of South Carolina; and a sister, Mariea (Doug) Love of Gardner, Ill.

Visitation will be at the R.W. Patterson Funeral Homes Ltd. & Crematory, Braidwood Chapel, 401 E. Main St., Braidwood, from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 7. Funeral services will be from the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 8, to the Immaculate Conception Church in Braidwood for Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. The Rev. Show Reddy Allam will officiate.

Cremation rites will be accorded following services. Inurnment will be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in his name may be directed to Joliet Area Community Hospice.
