PEORIA, Ill. — Kelly Sisk has received recognition on the President’s List for her outstanding academic achievements during the spring semester at Bradley University in Peoria, Ill.
Kelly is a 2010 graduate of Coal City High School and will be a fourth-year nursing major at Bradley’s College of Education and Health Sciences in the fall.
To be eligible for the President’s List, a student must achieve a minimum 4.0 grade point average for the semester on a 4.0 scale.
On April 14, 2013 Kelly was duly inducted into igma Theta Tau International, Honor Society of Nursing as a member of Epsilon Epsilon Chapter Bradley University Honor Society of Nursing.
Kelly is the daughter of Terry and Sheri Sisk of Coal City.
Four students acquire degrees from St. Ambrose
MOLINE, Ill. — St. Ambrose University held its Spring Commencement Saturday, May 11, at the i Wireless Center, Moline, Ill.
A total of 679 degree candidates, including 470 bachelor’s degree students, 200 master’s degree students and 9 doctoral students, were recognized during the ceremonies.
Among those graduates, three local students acquired bachelor’s degrees and one local student acquired a master’s degree.
Brad Greenup of Channahon received a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice.
Robert McLuckie of Coal City received bachelor’s degrees in computer investigations and criminal justice.
Christopher Ruffino of Minooka received a bachelor’s degree in sport Management.
Reilly Hamann of Coal City received a master’s degree in occupational therapy.
