Court Report: Morris man pleads guilty to theft

Jacob M. Farmer, 20, 905 Douglas St. pleaded guilty to charges of theft of less than $500 from incidents in 2011 and 2012. He was sentenced to two years probation, ordered to pay more than $400 in court fines and costs and $220 in restitution.

A charge of burglary to a vehicle was dismissed pending his plea agreement.

Other court news

• Jacqueline S. Collopy, 31, of Minooka, pleaded guilty to a May 11 charge of improper traffic lane usage and was fined $120.

• Robert G. Jackson, 54, of Coal City, pleaded guilty to a May 22 charge of disregarding a stop sign and was fined $120.
