Library holding teen geocaching program

Published: Thursday, June 13, 2013 11:41 a.m. CDT

At 1 p.m. on July 9 and July 16, the Morris Area Public Library will hold a geocaching program for teens.

What is geocaching?  It’s a real-world outdoor high-tech scavenger hunt. Geocaches can be found all over the world, even in Morris. They may be at your local park, at historic landmarks or at a nearby business.

So, how do you find the cache? What is a cache? Come to the library and find out what it’s all about.

This program is free and open to all teens participating in the Summer Reading Program. Registration is required for each of the two unique hunts.

The Morris Area Public Library is located at 604 Liberty Street in Morris.
