MINOOKA — A semitrailer rolled onto its side Monday evening, June 24, on Interstate 80, near Interstate 55, due to high winds from severe storms that passed through the area.
No one was injured in the one-vehicle accident on I-80 westbound, according to Illinois State Police District 5.
At about 6:04 p.m. state police received calls that a truck had blown over onto the highway. It took about two hours to clean up the accident.
The highway was not shut down, but traffic was slow and reduced to one lane during the midst of the severe weather.
