Biz Bits: Dr. Slutsky to present men’s health seminar

An upcoming men’s health seminar by Dr. Joel Slutsky will be particularly beneficial to men  unable to achieve or maintain an erection or who experience urinary leakage.

The seminar, sponsored by American Medical Systems, will afford men the opportunity to learn about signs, symptoms and treatment options for erectile dysfunction and male stress urinary incontinence (bladder leakage).

Planned for Wednesday, July 10, the seminar will take place at 1345 N. Edwards St., across from Morris Hospital, in Morris.

Registration begins at 6 p.m., with the seminar starting at 6:30 p.m. Men are encouraged to attend with their spouses/partners.

In addition to Dr. Slutsky speaking,  a former patient and, possibly, his spouse/significant other will discuss his experience.

Light refreshments will be served.

Chamber luncheon set for July 10 in Minooka

Connecting Careers is the topic for the July Chamber Luncheon, which will take place Wednesday, July 10, in  the Community Room at the Minooka Village Hall, 121 E. McEvilly, Minooka.

Career Connects Will & Grundy aims at giving students real-world career development and exploration through job shadows, internships and message boards with local professionals.

Cost for the lunch is $15 per member ($20/non-member). Advanced reservations are required and can be made by calling (815) 942-0113 or emailing events@grundychamber.com by July 5.
