Diana Lynn Meyer

WILMINGTON, Ill. — Mrs. Diana Lynn Meyer, 55, of Wilmington, Ill., and formerly of  Coal City, Ill., passed away Monday, Aug. 5, 2013, at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.

Born May 19, 1958, in Joliet, Ill., Diana is the daughter of Mary Hansen of Wilmington and the late Richard “Bootsy” Hansen. She was raised and educated in Wilmington and greatly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her mother; three children, Michael (Kori) Hansen of Wilmington, Jeremy (Kim) Durham of Lincoln, Ill., and Brad Meyer of Germany; four grandchildren, Isabel, Kylie, Kody, and Mackenzie; one brother, Rick (Becky) Hansen of Wilmington; and her special friend, Mike Harris of Coal City.

Diana was preceded in death by her father and one brother, James Glen Hansen.

Visitation and video tribute will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11, at Freitag-Reeves & Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 East Kahler Road, Wilmington. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 12, in the funeral home. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Wilmington.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Diana’s memory to her family for their distribution.
