Jonathan Wilson Field

BRAIDWOOD, Ill. – Mr. Jonathan Wilson Field, 44, Woodridge, Ill., and formerly of Braidwood, Ill., passed away suddenly Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2013, at Edward Hospital in Naperville, Ill.

Born Sept. 16, 1968, in Joliet, Ill., he was a graduate of Seoul Korea International with the Class of 1986. He was also a veteran of the United States Air Force, having served during Desert Storm.

Jonathan was an avid Chicago Bears and Chicago Blackhawks fan. He enjoyed computers and cooking.

Surviving are his wife, Diana (Rodriguez) Field; his daughter, Angela Isabel Field; a stepson, Jesus Tavarez; his parents, Jesse and Peggy (Ong) Field of Joliet; a sister, Jennifer (Jerry) Field of Cleveland; niece and nephew, Noah and Emily Benson; father-in-law, Oscar Rodriguez Sr. of Chicago; brother-in-law, Oscar (Emilia) Rodriguez Jr. of Chicago; uncle, Bill (Kathy) Field of Braidwood; aunts, Roberta (Wayne) Kilpatrick of Braidwood and Janet Conger of South Wilmington, Ill.; and several cousins. 

Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Jesse and Angela Field Sr. and Homer Wilson Ong.

Visitation will be at the R.W. Patterson Funeral Homes & Crematory, Braidwood Chapel, 401 E. Main St., Braidwood, from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5. Cremation rites will be accorded following services.

Inurnment will be in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Ill.
