Field House to celebrate 10 years

Heritage Crossing Field House in Channahon, a 37-square-foot facility, opened the doors to the community in September 2003.

CHANNAHON – Channahon Park District’s Heritage Crossing Field House is celebrating 10 years of serving the community with special activities planned from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 14.

There will be drawings every half-hour, free shaved ice, prizes and more.

A cooperative venture between Channahon School District 17 and the Channahon Park District, Heritage Crossing Field House opened its doors in September 2003. 

This 37,000 square feet of community recreation space houses a full-size gymnasium, batting cage, the 3,000-square-foot Dimensions Fitness Center, three-lane suspended walking/running track, meeting/program room, child care and locker rooms.
