JOLIET – The University of St. Francis welcomed more than 440 new undergraduate students to its Joliet campus for the 2013-14 academic year. Area students in the largest and most selective freshman class in school history include:

Purdue students honored for academic achievement

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – About 13,600 Purdue University students earned semester honors for the 2013 spring

wsemester.

To earn semester honors, students must be attending at least half-time, have at least a 3.5 semester grade point average and at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA.

Students earning semester honors include:

• Judith Johnson of Diamond

• Jennifer Jill Leake of Diamond

• Rochelle Claire of Morris

• Blair Goley of Dwight

Area students receive degrees from Purdue

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Purdue University awarded about 7,100 degrees to students following the spring semester.

Those earning degrees include:

Rochelle Claire of Morris, who earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of Liberal Arts.

Joshua Kaluzny of Morris, who earned a MS in Engineering degree from the Graduate School.

Jennifer Jill Leake of Diamond, who earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the School of Nursing.
