Natalie Cash of Gardner, the 2012 Grundy County Corn Festival Queen, will pass her title to the new queen during coronation ceremonies held Friday night in downtown Morris.

Among the traditional kickoff events for the Grundy County Corn Festival is the Baby Photo Show. The results of the competition of cuteness were announced last week by festival officials.

The Baby Photo Show, they stress, is separate from the Baby Show, which is also an event held in advance of the official opening of the annual harvest festival. The Baby Show was held Sept. 22.
