Gundry County announces six indictments

Grundy County State’s Attorney Jason Helland announced that Wednesday, the grand jury returned the following indictments.

The public is advised that a charge is merely an accusation and that a defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.

• Jared Foster, 25, was indicted for the unlawful possession of more than 30 grams of ketamine with the intent to deliver, a Class X felony; the unlawful possession of more than 10 grams but less than 30 grams of ketamine with the intent to deliver, a Class 1 felony; the unlawful possession with intent to deliver of more than 500 grams but less than 2,000 grams of cannabis, a Class 2 felony; the unlawful possession of more than 500 grams but less than 2,000 grams of cannabis, a Class 3 felony; and aggravated battery to a peace officer, a Class 2 felony.

• Dustin Freeman, 27, was indicted for the unlawful possession of more than 30 grams of ketamine with the intent to deliver, a Class X felony; the unlawful possession of more than 10 grams but less than 30 grams of ketamine with the intent to deliver, a Class 1 felony; the unlawful possession of more than 500 grams but less than 2,000 grams of cannabis with the intent to deliver, a Class 2 felony; and the unlawful possession of more than 500 grams but less than 2,000 grams of cannabis, a Class 3 felony.

• Maria Hartly, 44, Diamond, was indicted for two counts of aggravated battery to a police officer, both Class 2 felonies; and aggravated battery to an emergency management worker, a Class 2 felony.

• Roberto Huizar, 29, Joliet, was indicted for driving with a revoked license, a Class 3 felony.

• Sergio Rivera-Valenzuela, 29, Morris, was indicted for unlawful possession of hydrocodone, a Class 4 felony; and two counts of driving while revoked, both Class 4 felonies.

• Vicente Sanchez-Flores, 35, Morris, was indicted for the unlawful possession of a cocaine, a Class 4 felony.
