MORRIS – The Grundy County Health Department has scheduled a walk-in flu vaccination clinic Wednesday for children 6 months to 18 years of age.
The clinic will be held from 3:15 to 5:30 p.m. at the Grundy County Administration Building, 1320 Union St., Morris, according to a news release from the health department. No appointments are necessary; call 815-941-3419 with any questions.
The Illinois Department of Public Health’s Vaccine for Children program will provide the vaccine for children 6 months to 18 years of age who reside in Grundy County, are an American Indian or Alaskan native, have been enrolled in Medicaid or do not have health insurance that covers the cost of vaccines.
Those with insurance that pay for immunizations are not eligible to participate in this program according to the news release.
