CHICAGO – The Illinois Department of Central Management Services is inviting business owners to discuss its Business Enterprise Program at several public meetings, part of CMS’ Disparity Study to obtain, clarify and analyze evidence of contracting processes which may cause a disparate impact to undeserved business communities.
The Department’s efforts are to ensure inclusion of all firms in CMS contracting opportunities and that the BEP meets these objectives, according to a news release from the agency.
CMS is encouraging business owners to talk about the BEP Program and to learn more about state-contracting process. Business-owner interviews will be conducted at numerous locations across the state.
For information on interview times, locations and dates, contact Colette Holt & Associates, the consultant conducting the CMS Study, at 855-692-3529 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
