Family nurse practitioner joins Ottawa staff

OTTAWA – The Ottawa Regional Medical Center, a part of OSF HealthCare, welcomes a new advanced practice provider to its staff.

Angela Todd, family nurse practitioner, began seeing patients earlier this spring. A former emergency department registered nurse, Todd recently completed her Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of St. Francis in Joliet. She attained board certification as a family nurse practitioner from the American Nurses Credentialing Center, according to a news release.

“Angela joins us with many years of experience responding to the needs of a variety of patients – from newborns and adolescents to adults and the elderly – as well as their immediate and extended family members,” Paula Swank, regional manager of the physician practice, said in a release. “Having an ER background transitions well to offering care for the entire family.”

Todd is accepting patients of all ages and will join several family medicine providers within Ottawa Regional Medical Center. Her clinical interests include pediatric patient care and well visits, women’s health care, asthma education and occupational health.
