CHICAGO (MCT) — A shooting at a gang funeral on the South Side last year has claimed a second victim. Deonte Ousley, 27, died Wednesday, almost a year after he and another man were shot outside St. Columbanus Church, where a funeral was being held for a gang member killed a week earlier, according to police.

The second person shot, Sherman Miller, 21, died not long after the shooting. Ousley, of the 5900 block of South Damen Avenue in the Englewood neighborhood, was pronounced dead about 6 a.m. Wednesday. Ousley and Miller had been attending the funeral of James Holman, 32, when they were shot on Nov. 26 at the church in the Park Manor neighborhood. All three were identified by police as Gangster Disciples.

No arrests have been made in the shooting.
