The Grundy County Historical Society will hold its annual Festival of Trees the weekend after Thanksgiving.
This tree donated by Reeves Baskerville Funeral Home is called “Whooos for Christmas” and is decorated with several types of owls and nature items such as birds.
This year the Festival of Trees will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Nov. 29, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 30 and 1 to 3 p.m. Dec. 1. Many trees, wreaths and centerpieces will tempt bidders to take home the item of their choice.

The festival is at the GCHS Museum, 510 W. Illinois Ave. in Morris.
The event features decorated trees, wreaths and centerpieces, plus a holiday table setting for four donated by Lawrence Advertising, all available by Silent Bid Auction.
