MORRIS – The five fifth-grade classes at While Oak School recently held a cookie sale to help We Care of Grundy County provide assistance to needy families during the Christmas season. Students, their families and teachers donated cookies that were purchased from area bakeries and grocery stores.

The donated cookies were sold to White Oak students and staff members, raising $422, that was in turn donated to We Care. The fifth grade-students and teachers are grateful to all those who made the cookie sale possible as well as to We Care of Grundy County for its efforts to help individuals and families in Grundy County.
