Morris wins as rivalry renewed with Seneca

SENECA – The first non-tournament varsity boys basketball game between Morris and Seneca since 2005 went to visiting Morris Saturday night, 46-42.

Seneca (10-3) bolted to a 7-0 lead, to which Morris responded by scoring eight straight points and 25 of the final 34 in the half. Though Seneca got as close as two points in the fourth quarter, the Redskins (9-2) maintained their lead to the finish.
