'Coping with Loss' class starting
MORRIS – Grundy Community Volunteer Hospice “Coping with Loss” class is a series of 10 sessions which will start Wednesday evening, March 12, and end May 14.
The sessions will be from 6:30 to 9 p.m. on consecutive Wednesday evenings.
The classes cover many aspects of grief, not just the loss of a loved one through death. Grief can be caused by divorce, physical handicaps, loss of employment, retiring and aging.
Grundy Community Volunteer Hospice is licensed by the Illinois Department of Public Health and is a nonprofit organization which provides support, comfort and compassionate care to people with life limiting illnesses and to their families in a manner that respects the dignity of each individual.
The classes will be at the Morris Business and Technology Center at 1802 N. Division St in Morris. Come to the south side of the building to door No. 9, Room 507.
For further information about the classes or to register call the hospice office at 815-942-8525 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. There is no charge for this class.
