Morris Warriors to hold sign-ups on Saturday

From 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, the Morris Warriors youth football program will be signing up both players and cheerleaders at the District 101 Recreation Center. It is for children between ages of 6 and 14 who want to play in the 2014 season. For information, go to www.morriswarriors.com.

New local soccer team looking for players

A competitive boys travel soccer team from the area will soon be forming for the 2014-15 season. It is for boys between the ages of 13 and 14 and it will be coached by USSF accredited coaches. All positions to play currently are available. For information, email bluewhitefc@gmail.com.

Seneca softball team to host ninth annual camp

The ninth annual Lady Irish softball camp will be Sunday 1-3 p.m. at Seneca High School. It is open to girls between the ages of first and eighth grades.Cost of the camp is $30, which includes a camp T-shirt and other Lady Irish softball players. Morris softball camp coming this summer

Morris Community High School will be holding a softball camp from July 7 through July 10 at the MCHS softball field.

The schedule for fifth and sixth graders is from 1-2:30 p.m. and for seventh and eighth graders from 2:30-4 p.m.

Cost of the camp is $60.

Morris volleyball camp coming this summer

Morris Community High School will be holding a volleyball camp from June 9 through June 12 in the MCHS gymnasium.

The schedule is for returning high school students to attend from 1-3 p.m. and for incoming freshmen to go from 3-5 p.m.

Cost of the camp is $60.

There will also be a junior high camp from June 30 through July 3 with fifth and sixth graders going from 1-2:30 p.m. and seventh and eighth graders from 2:30-4 p.m.
